The Power of Worldwide Cooperation
On behalf of OCLC, the global library cooperative, and the Asia Pacific Regional Council, we welcome you to the seventh annual meeting of Asia Pacific Regional Council.
The Conference provides an opportunity for member libraries from around the world to explore the trends that are shaping the future of libraries. To encourage those conversations, OCLC assembles a programme of speakers that are among the thought leaders in their chosen fields.
Over the last six years, the Conference has become an important channel for the governance of the cooperative, where member libraries from the region can present their views on library challenges.
The two-day conference is part of the week’s events which includes, by invitation, the Libraries Australia Forum, OCLC Research Partners Meeting, user group meetings, and library tours.
All interested librarians in Asia and the Pacific region are welcomed to attend this conference.
We invite you to join us in the city of Melbourne for what promises to be our biggest meeting to date.
Asia Pacific Regional Council
