Synopsis of the event

The Conference provided an opportunity for member libraries from around the world to explore the trends that are shaping the future of libraries. To encourage those conversations, OCLC assembled a programme of speakers that are among the thought leaders in their chosen fields.

Over the last six years, the Conference has become an important channel for the governance of the cooperative, where member libraries from the region can present their views on library challenges.

The two-day conference was part of the week’s events, which included, by invitation, the Libraries Australia Forum, OCLC Research Library Partnership Meeting, user group meetings, and library tours.
