More libraries worldwide select OCLC WorldShare Management Services

More than fifty additional libraries have selected OCLC WorldShare Management Services this year, choosing the Web-based library management services that simplify back-office operations, streamline library workflows, and provide a powerful discovery and delivery service for library users.

Fourteen of the libraries that have selected WorldShare Management Services are in Australia; they have completed implementation and are now live with the service.

Included in the list of Australian libraries in full implementation of WorldShare Management Services are:

  • Auburn City Library Service (New South Wales)
  • Collie Public Library (Western Australia)
  • The Hutchins School (Tasmania)
  • Isaac Regional Council Libraries (Queensland)
  • Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School (Victoria)
  • Monash Health Libraries (Melbourne)

OCLC staff in Melbourne have extensive experience in supporting libraries in Australia and New Zealand and worked closely with libraries in the region to facilitate implementation and support of WorldShare Management Services.

WorldShare Management Services offer unified, Web-based applications—from acquisitions and circulation, to metadata and license management, resource sharing and analytics—to streamline workflows, and create new value for their institutions and users.

WorldShare Management Services were released for general availability in July 2011. Today, more than 120 libraries on three continents—Australia, Europe and North America—are using the services. More than 200 libraries have signed up to use WorldShare Management Services.

More about OCLC WorldShare Management Services can be found on the product pages.
