Membership criteria
OCLC's Membership Criteria and corresponding services and activities are proposed by OCLC staff and reviewed by the Membership Committee on an annual basis. The Membership Committee comprises Global Council member delegates and members of the Board of Trustees. Any changes must be approved by the Global Council and the Board of Trustees. Here are the current criteria and corresponding services and activities that qualify institutions for membership. An institution must complete at least one of the following activities related to an OCLC service within the past three years:
