Ann Pederson

Ann is a solo hospital librarian for Altru Health System. Prior to her current clinical setting she was an academic librarian with reference, bibliographic and user education responsibilities. Ann served a three year appointment to Medical Library Association’s Academy of Health Information Professional Credentialing Committee and is credentialed as a Distinguished Member of the Academy. Her committee work has included serving as North Dakota’s representative to the Emergency Preparedness Working Group in the Greater Midwest Regional Chapter of the National Network of the Libraries of Medicine. Ann received a B.S. in Education and M.A. in Library Science from the University of Minnesota. An additional M.S. in Education was earned at the University of North Dakota. Given the heated hockey rivalry between the two schools she acknowledges that she cheers for UND. Ann was elected to the OCLC Global Council in 2011.
