Electronic Data Exchange

Electronic Data Exchange (EDX) is a service libraries use to exchange bibliographic records with OCLC using File Transfer Protocol. Unlike other exhange methods, EDX allows you to send or receive multiple files at one time. EDX is a subscription-based service, available at no additional charge.

Designed for many services

EDX facilitates the use of the following OCLC services.

For posting or retrieval details, please see the EDX User Guide.

How to subscribe

To participate, please contact OCLC or complete the EDX Assessment Form.

Note: Using your OCLC authorization and password, you may also retrieve files through OCLC Product Services Web, a product support Web site. If you choose this method, it is not neccessary to complete the EDX Assessment Form.
