OCLC recognizes the importance of development and training to ensure that its employees have the knowledge and tools to perform their job responsibilities at the highest level and to meet the challenges of a demanding library environment in a rapidly changing information age. OCLC encourages its employees to develop their skills through various in-house development and training programs and career development opportunities, as well as through off-premise academic programs for which it provides tuition reimbursement.
