Interoperability between ONIX metadata used in the publishing industry and MARC metadata used by the library community, is explored. Models for the creation and maintenance of metadata throughout the supply chain are also discussed. A presentation by Renee Register, Global Product Manager, OCLC Cataloging & Metadata Services was followed by a discussion with the audience.
