Records remain in the Forwarded to Others folder until they are automatically deleted from the system based on the admin option under Administrator, My Institution, set by your institution administrator (default setting is 180 days).

  • Administrators can define a specific code to include in all exported MARC records associated with the specific vendor. Administrators specify the code value, MARC field, and MARC field subfield for each vendor. The data is included in the MARC record so that Acquisitions staff can include the data in the order sent to the vendor if desired.

Automatically export records and deliver via FTP (Completed: March 2009)

Export by vendor and fund combination (Completed: March 2009)

  • Acquisitions staff can export records by specifying a vendor and a fund, using the Boolean AND. Previously you could export records by specifying a vendor or a fund using the Boolean OR. Go to Acquisitions, Selected Titles. To limit export to records by a specific vendor and fund, select the specific options and click Export Selected Records.

Update defer reason on groups of records (Completed: March 2009)

  • Selectors can update the defer reason on groups of records in the Deferred folder from the list. Previously you could only update the defer reason on single records from the displayed record in the Deferred folder.
