Individual libraries or groups of libraries may subscribe to the QuestionPoint service. QuestionPoint pricing is based on unlimited annual subscriptions consisting of three elements:

  1. The Reference Management Platform: Our complete suite provides a chat and email service, associated customizable web forms and widgets, a local knowledge base, and cooperative tools that allow groups to share staffing of queues and question referral. Analyze activity through a variety of statistics and reports, available at both the institution and group level.  Pricing is flat rate per institution; group discounts are available.  
  2. The 24/7 Reference Cooperative (optional): This around-the-clock live chat-based cooperative allows libraries to provide service to their users on the web 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The 24/7 Cooperative is an optional service with pricing based on population/FTE and level of staffing contribution.
  3. Implementation and Training Services: OCLC provides many online training options at no cost to libraries. Individual training and project management assistance are available for a fee. Implementation is required for consortia, statewide and group subscriptions, but may be waived for single libraries.
