Transform your users' discovery experience with WorldCat Local

Join us for an one-hour Web session and hear from Terry Huttenlock of Buswell Memorial Library at Wheaton College about her experience implementing WorldCat Local, the OCLC Webscale discovery service. Terry will also share how her library leverages WorldCat Local and the WorldCat knowledge base to give patrons a way to easily discover the library’s physical, electronic (licensed) and digital resources through a single simple interface at their point of need.

Attend and learn how you also can provide a true “discovery to delivery” experience for your users. WorldCat Local:

  • Connects users to all library materials—electronic, digital and physical
  • Gives users a Google-like search experience, including mobile access
  • Frees the library from maintaining local hardware or software

We are a worldwide library cooperative, owned, governed and sustained by members since 1967. Our public purpose is a statement of commitment to each other—that we will work together to improve access to the information held in libraries around the globe, and find ways to reduce costs for libraries through collaboration.
