Customizing your Electronic Collections Online experience

OCLC and our partners provide a number of flexible options for your library and users.

A range of delivery methods

Deliver articles through the default FirstSearch interface, or directly from your library's catalog or Web site.

Access from partner services

Inbound linking provides you with full access to journals content in Electronic Collections Online from OCLC partner services CSA and BTJ.

Complement your subscriptions with per-article-use purchasing

Per-article-use purchasing gives your users access to abstracts and full text for articles in journals to which your library does not subscribe. It's an easy way to complement your existing subscriptions, and you can use the purchase statistics to guide your future electronic journal acquisitions.

Bibliographic records for your online catalog

Streamline access to your library's journal collection from your library's online catalog with bibliographic records that match your journal subscriptions. Provided at no charge if requested at the time of a journal subscription order, these MARC-formatted records can be easily added to your local library databases. As a bonus, your library's OCLC symbol is also added to records for the journals in the WorldCat database.

Options for subscribing

You can subscribe to Electronic Collections Online journals from a number of different sources.

Alternate access to article citations

The Electronic Collections Online database is also searchable through ArticleFirst. However, full-text articles and abstracts are not available through this method.
