Course description

This half-day course will focus on advanced searching techniques using OCLC FirstSearch to access WorldCat and other reference databases.  Hands-on exercises will assist the user to better apply the searching tips and tools and to understand the advanced searching mode in FirstSearch.   

Online workshops use WebEx, an easy-to-use virtual meeting technology. Attendees will receive as part of their confirmation the necessary logon information, links to course materials and telephone number (used for the audio portion of training). This confirmation will be sent out prior to the workshop
