Course description

The FirstSearch Administrative module allows a library to customize and manage its FirstSearch account.   Students will learn how to navigate the admin module; find general account information; customize FirstSearch; create links to their library catalog and open URLs and co-brand their library logo and name on the search interface.  Other topics include: setting global account options; managing passwords; creating and managing topic areas; and controlling database access.
