WorldCat Resource Sharing Basics Webinar

Course description

This 2-hour, online course will introduce students to the WorldCat Resource Sharing interface.  This course focuses on the basic procedures needed to manage an ILL request using the new interface, which is accessed through FirstSearch. Students will learn about accessing WorldCat Resource Sharing, customization options, searching and accessing records from OCLC's WorldCat bibliographic database, and producing and completing requests.  Students will work through an ILL request and learn how to create a borrowing request and to respond to a request as a lender.
