Course description
This 2-hour course will cover the basics of descriptive cataloging and the MARC format. You will learn how to interpret catalog records, apply MARC tagging, increase your knowledge of access points, and describe materials according to the current national standards. Best of all, you will learn how to find the answers to your cataloging questions for yourself.
Online workshops use WebEx, an easy-to-use virtual meeting technology. Attendees will receive as part of their confirmation the necessary logon information, links to course materials and telephone number (used for the audio portion of training). This confirmation will be sent out prior to the workshop
