Course description
This full-day, hands-on course provides an introduction to copy cataloging using OCLC's Connexion Client. This course will cover general principles of copy cataloging, provide an introduction to MARC records, and explain techniques for searching and navigating search results in OCLC's WorldCat, as well as selecting the best matching bibliographic record. Students will also learn about editing records, creating and applying constant data, updating holdings, and exporting records for local use.
