WorldCat Resource Sharing Basics—Full-day, in-person workshop at OCLC Eastern

WorldCat Resource Sharing Basics is a full-day, hands-on course that will introduce students to the WorldCat Resource Sharing (ILL) interface for both borrowing and lending. This course focuses on the basic procedures needed to manage an ILL. Students will learn how to access WorldCat Resource Sharing, customization options, searching and accessing records from OCLC's WorldCat bibliographic database, and producing and completing requests. Students will work through an ILL request cycle and learn how to create a borrowing request and to respond to a request as a lender.
