ScholarlyStats

New platforms and pricing tiers from ScholarlyStats

ScholarlyStats, the Usage Statistics Portal from Swets in partnership with MPS Technologies, is adding new pricing levels for academic and corporate libraries.  For example, academic libraries can now subscribe to a 15-platform level, whereas in the past the options were either a 10-platform or 25-platform level

ScholarlyStats provides information professionals with indispensable tools to thoroughly analyze usage of their online content. Libraries are evolving rapidly due to the availability of online material and remote access by users, and so the need for an organized system to monitor, maintain and support the analysis of usage statistics is both necessary and required.

ScholarlyStats enables libraries to outsource the administration of their usage statistics, freeing librarians to spend more time analyzing usage and less time administrating it.

The ScholarlyStats portal provides a single point of access for vendor usage statistics. Reports are generated monthly from the collection of the statistical data and are easily accessible to library staff through its user-friendly interface. This portal provides librarians with access to their latest vendor usage statistics in order to help:

  • measure the cost effectiveness of online content purchases
  • explore usage at institutions
  • understand and analyze trends in user behavior
  • identify training issues
  • make budgeting decisions based upon real usage
  • demonstrate the value that online access provides to readers

In-depth analysis of usage statistics is a new area of exploration for many libraries, and ScholarlyStats enables them to make informed operational decisions based on vital usage data.
