OpinionArchives

OpinionArchives designs, develops, digitizes and administers archives for leading opinion journals, newspapers and magazines. For over 15 years, they have been creating opinion archives that have proven to be an essential resource to a broad group of individuals and organizations, including professors, students, researchers, writers, libraries and library consortia.

OpinionArchives consists of nine titles from some of the oldest and most distinguished magazine publishers in America, including The Nation, NACLA, The New Republic, Harper's, National Review, Commentary, American Spectator, Scientific American and Commonweal.

This collection is uniquely inclusive and wide-ranging, spanning progressive views to more conservative perspectives, covering domestic as well as international issues, involving politics, the arts, books and culture.

Represented in these comprehensive archives are words and images from the world's most thought-provoking writers, artists and political activists. Contributing writers include Presidents, Ambassadors, European leaders, great American poets, novelists, statesmen, philosophers and scientists. There are over 600,000 pages covering 640 years of history, including thousands of reviews on art, books, theatre and film.

OpinionArchives enables researchers to access historical material in ways never before possible, and is an invaluable and responsible source of primary research material.
