Two new resources from Taylor & Francis─ Energy Engineering and a “Build Your Own” Collection

Taylor & Francis is the oldest commercial journals publisher in the world, and one of the leading global academic publishers, publishing over 900 peer-reviewed research journals and around 1,800 new books each year. Recently they added a new energy engineering encyclopedia and the opportunity “to create your own database” from their vast CRCnetBASE product line.
The Encyclopedia of Energy Engineering and Technology Online, a Dartmouth Medal Nominated reference title, provides ready access to the basic principles and applications of energy engineering, as well as advanced applications in the technologies of energy production and use. Topics include such areas as:
• Energy, energy supplies and energy use • Renewable and alternative energy sources • Technical, economic and financial analysis of energy systems.
Through June 30, 2008, The Encyclopedia of Energy Engineering and Technology Online is available to OCLC Eastern libraries at an additional 15% discount (this is beyond the usual group discount Taylor & Francis offers OCLC Eastern libraries). BUILDyourOWNnetBASE allows you to choose from an ala carte menu of over 3500 titles in more than 30 academic disciplines. This new, flexible resource is Taylor and Francis’ latest CRCnetBASE product, which provides libraries with an extensive array of research databases in the scientific and technical fields.
