Mission

OCLC Eastern's core mission is to assist libraries in improving information delivery through access to technology and education. In plain terms, we exist to help libraries in our area work together to make the most of their resources. As an organization, we look for new ways that libraries can collaborate—through new technology, emerging industry standards and good old-fashioned face-to-face conversations.

Vision

OCLC Eastern will be the advocate and ally for libraries in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. We help our member libraries serve their users by developing new solutions, providing training, and building partnerships.
