The digitization and preservation world is rich in resources and organizations that can offer support. Among these are:

• American Library Association (ALA) Association for Library Collections & Technical Services
  Home to the ALA's Preservation and Reformatting Section, a primary source and community for preservationists.
• Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Preservation Program
  In addition to providing information about ARL's preservation agenda, activities, and publications, this site is a good source for information on the National Register of Microform Masters (NRMM).
• Conservation Online (CoOL)
  A wealth of information on a variety of topics of interest to conservation and preservation professionals: an archive of the Conservation DistList discussions, extensive links to conservation/preservation related organizations and topical sub-pages.
• Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR)
  The CLIR is the administrative home to the Digital Library Federation, and offers general information about CLIR, its activities and publications.
• Digital Library Federation (DLF)
  The DLF, which works closely with OCLC on digitization standards and other issues, is a consortium of libraries and related institutions using electronic-information technologies to extend their collections and services.
• Library of Congress American Memory Project
  National Digital Library Program. A historical collection of documents, film clips, photographs and sound recordings of important events, people and places in the history of the United States.
• European Commission on Preservation and Access (ECPA)
  ECPA provides detailed information about preservation practices and efforts in Europe.
• Intl. Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)
  IFLA promotes interest in the international library community, with publications, conferences, programs and roundtables.
• Society of American Archivists' (SAA) Preservation Section
  Links for archival material preservation, preservation organizations, an online text version of the Infinity newsletter and a bibliography of selected readings in preservation.
• SOLINET's Preservation & Access Section
  SOLINET's Preservation & Access Web page provides information about their field service and microfilm service programs, as well as links to publications and other preservation information.
