I've searched the Relative Index for 'cookies,' (not in the gastronomic sense), but I don't find an appropriate number for this technology. Can you recommend a search strategy?
When you search for a common term that relates to many disciplines (and is not readily apparent in the Relative Index), you could combine the search with a truncated search on the Dewey Numbers index. For example, if your book in hand about cookies relates not to the edible kind in the 600s, but instead to technology in the 000s, you could search for "cookies" in the All Fields index and "0*" in the Dewey Numbers index.
