Innovation in Libraries videos

The videos from Innovation in Libraries are finally ready! And a shout out to all video content producers, because each time we work on large numbers of videos I am reminded how labor-intensive the editing, uploading, description process can be. But hooray! Now even if you weren't able to attend Innovation in Libraries, you can still benefit from the collective wisdom shared at the post-LITA event back in October.

Code4Lib Mid-Atlantic

So last week I had the opportunity to attend code4lib Mid-Atlantic and hang out with library developers from that part of the country. One of the most interesting things about the conference was its international set of participants. Because the event was held in conjunction with the VuFind conference, several members of the international VuFind community stayed and attended the code4lib Mid-Atlantic conference as well. This gave the small conference a refreshing global-cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Innovation in Libraries deemed a great success

Innovation in LibrariesWhile Karen is off at Code4Lib Mid-Atlantic in Philadelphia learning new things, I finally found some catching-up time to assemble some follow-up thoughts about the Innovation in Libraries event. And load the slides!

Quick reminder that your Innovation in Libraries proposals are due in 2 weeks = 31 August.

We're still looking for a few more lightning talks, which don't have to be strict pecha-kucha. Just short.
