Hello!
I am creating a mobile site for our library.
http://libguides.philau.edu/m
On this site, I have embedded a WorldCat Local searchbox...I would love to have this search box route users to the mobile version of worldcat Local.
http://philau.worldcat.org/m/
Is there anyway to get the search box to search the mobile version of worldcat local?
Here is the code I use to search articles in WCL
Thanks for any help!
Michael
On Sunday, September 18 there will be a scheduled service downtime for the WorldCat Search API and WorldCat Basic API service from 1:00 a.m.
until at least 8:00 a.m. Eastern time (-4 GMT). This temporary service interruption is required so we can upgrade software that supports the WorldCat API.
We endeavor to have as little downtime as possible; this downtime is necessary.

Hello WorldCat Search API Implementers
The WorldCat Search API has been updated with these bug fixes and enhancements.
The new Open Digital Limit is available through the SRU queries. This limit returns records describing digital content contributed to WorldCat from open access digital repositories. Records contain URLs that point to the digital file.
The searchable values are:
I'm sorry to say there is a bug in the ISBN, ISSN, and LCCN SRU queries. They do not put results in a FRBRgrouping. The results of any ISBN, ISSN or LCCN query will get you all bibliographic records when it should give you the default result of FRBRgrouping=on which tends to be a single record, even with an SRU query. When the system is working correctly, there are times when there may be more than one edition using the same ISBN, but it isn't that common.
All other SRU queries does work correctly.
Dear WorldCat API implementers,
Hello WorldCat API implementers:
All OCLC WorldCat searching services, including the WorldCat Search API and the WorldCat Basic API will be down or approximately an hour from 5:00am until 6:00am U.S. Eastern Time on Sunday October 31 (-4 GMT) for a system maintenance install. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. There will be no change to any of the API features.
Best regards,
Dawn

Hello WorldCat Search API Implementers,
The WorldCat Search API will have an install this Sunday September 19, 2010. The service is expected to remain available during this update scheduled to occur between 2am and 4am ET.
This install will correct various problems discovered over the month.
1) The LCCN provided in the RSS and Atom formats will now work correctly for all ISSNs including those with one or two character prefixes.
