The purpose of the Policy Directory Web Service is to allow institutions to access information about institution's policies for different purposes such as inter-library loan applications.

Authentication:

Authentication for the Policies Directory webservice is handled by WSKey v1. This means that the WSKey can either be passed as a URL parameter, or for additional security, is sent in the request header using 'wskey' as the header name.
