Using the API

Summary:

The purpose of the Article Exchange API is to allow institutions to upload binary files as content to be shared with others and retrieve this content. Content which is uploaded to the service is available for a limited amount of time: either 30 days or 5 views of the document whichever occurs first.

Access methods:

There is one URL endpoint in regard to these services and they are constructed in the following manner:

Authentication:

This webservice requires that you provide an ILL autho and password as part of the query parameters:

?autho=[id]&password=[password]

Additionally, authentication for the Article Exchange API is handled using a WSKey v2.
