Python Module for working with the WorldCat API and xID worldcat is an open source module for the Python programming language that interacts with the WorldCat Search API and the xISBN/xLCCN/xOCLCNUM/xISSN web services. Developers can build working prototypes rapidly using the bibliographic, holdings and citation information available in WorldCat records. Sample applications, such as Google Maps, interface for displaying holdings information and a subject-based book recommender are included. |
