Developer Network

The OCLC Developer Network is a space where developers and librarians can connect to discuss, experiment and share solutions using OCLC web services.

Developer Network Team

The OCLC Developer Network team supports the use of the WorldShare Platform by facilitating dialogue, collaboration and sponsoring events such as mashathons/hackathons, workshops, office hours and other activities. We work right along side the WorldShare Platform development team, which supports the infrastructure of the Platform, creates guidelines for consistency across services, and develops tools that make your use of OCLC's Web services a lot easier.

We also work with individual product teams to identify requirements and use cases for new web services, provide feedback from the community on current web services, and to facilitate the documentation and announcement of each service and new release. Our job is to help you make effective use of the WorldShare Platform and, more specifically, the Web services relevant to your projects. We have an open-door policy in this regard -- please feel free to ask questions, provide suggestions, and share your experiences with us!

You can always reach us at devnet@oclc.org.

We are a worldwide library cooperative, owned, governed and sustained by members since 1967. Our public purpose is a statement of commitment to each other—that we will work together to improve access to the information held in libraries around the globe, and find ways to reduce costs for libraries through collaboration.
