OCLC Developer Network

About

The OCLC Developer Network is a community of developers collaborating in a "sandbox" environment in order to propose, discuss and test OCLC Web Services. This open source, code-sharing infrastructure improves the value of OCLC data for all users by encouraging new OCLC Web Service uses. Join us to:

  • help shape the future of OCLC Web Services;
  • engage in discussion and focus groups relative to current and proposed services;
  • share software code with other network members and the community-at-large in an open source environment; and,
  • provide feedback points for the library community to engage with.

Join the OCLC Developer Network listserv to participate in discussions and ask questions. You can also Search the list archive for help with questions

Join the listserv to join the Developer Network

By joining the listserv, you effectively join the OCLC Developer Network. Sometimes this isn't totally clear to people--but you CAN be a member of the OCLC Developer Network without writing a single line of code. Simply put, if you're interested to participate in the community and discussion, please join.

Alternatively, you can use the APIs, code libraries and more on this site without joining the Developer Network. But why would you want to?
