OCLC has recently made several enhancements to its billing processes that will enable OCLC direct billed members to better manage their OCLC accounts. The most apparent improvement will be the ability to view detailed billing information online via the OCLC Online Service Center. OCLC direct billed members will first see these changes with the August billing cycle, scheduled for distribution in early September 2008.
Specific enhancements include:
- Redesigned invoices with detailed billing information that are easier to read and understand.
- Clearer product code descriptions including more specific detail on your FirstSearch purchases.
- Online access to PDF copies of invoices and statements.
- Online access to account and payment information including subscription deposit account balances.
- Replacement of the paper Sales Institution Detail Report with online access to usage statistics.

Important Note:
As a result of these billing improvements, the Sales Institution Detail Report will no longer be sent in your packet; however it will be available online. Online access to billing information is available through the OCLC Online Service Center. In order to get the most of your online billing information, view usage statistics or print copies of your invoices and statements, it is necessary to create an Online Service Center Account.
