This year’s OCLC/IFLA Fellows spent four weeks (April 28 - May 23) in the United States, based primarily at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, and one week (May 24 - May 31) based at OCLC's EMEA office in Leiden, Netherlands. In early May, the Fellows came to visit Washington, D.C. They toured the city along with OCLC Eastern and OCLC corporate staff, making visits to the Library of Congress and other national monuments and points of interest throughout our nation's capitol.
During the five-week program, the Fellows interacted with OCLC staff, shared information about libraries in their countries, visited libraries, attended the OCLC Members Council May meeting, and participated in many OCLC-sponsored activities. Program sponsors are the American Theological Library Association, International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), and OCLC.
