WorldCat libraries recognize that you may be unable to borrow or access an item within a convenient period of time. Purchase links are offered through trusted partners such as Amazon.com as an option that both complements and benefits library collections: A small portion of your purchase initiated from one of these links helps support WorldCat libraries.
Can I contact an author through WorldCat?
No. However, WorldCat records for some items may include a link to the author's Web site under the heading "More Info."
I would like my Web site to link to or utilize WorldCat information. What should I do?
Partnership opportunities are available for Web sites, library-industry vendors and other third parties. A variety of "Affiliate" services are also available; these include a simple WorldCat search box any site can implement, plus Web services that return specific WorldCat data based on URL-based queries. WorldCat.org also features instructions for constructing links to WorldCat records or keyword search results.
