Creating a new partnership

OCLC is working to expand the number and types of library service providers that wish to link with the OCLC WorldCat library access program. If your library would like to recommend a new partner:

  • Check the Current partners page to see if your service provider is already on the list.
  • If the provider is not listed, refer them to the WorldCat Partners Resources for Vendors page for background on the program.
  • Ensure that you have an active account with the proposed partner/service provider.
  • Submit the proposed partner name and contact information (name, phone, e-mail if available) to the OCLC Customer Services Division via e-mail or the CSD support form. Include the words "WorldCat library access program - partner request" in the e-mail subject line or the form comment text.

An OCLC product manager will contact all proposed new program participants and begin a discussion to take the next steps for partnership. If the proposed partner is approved and agrees to the partner relationship, OCLC will contact your library when the new partner is active.
