ACLS Humanities E-Book

Overview

ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) includes over 1,700 works of major importance to the humanities, books that remain vital to both scholars and advanced students and are frequently cited in the literature. Approximately 500 titles are added each year. Includes unlimited simultaneous multi-user access using a standard web browser, plus MARC records and COUNTER compliant stats. HEB is a collaboration of twelve learned societies, ninety contributing publishers and librarians at the University of Michigan's Scholarly Publishing Office.

    Fields currently covered include Area Studies in the following: Australasian/Oceanian, Byzantine, Canadian, Caribbean, Native Peoples, Women's Studies. Historical Studies include African, American, Asian, Comparative/World, Eastern European/Russian, Economic, European, Latin American, Legal, Methods/Theory, Middle East, and Science/Technology. HEB also encompasses the fields of Art History, Literature, Political Science, and Religion. Forthcoming fields include Archaeology, History of Medicine, and History of Philosophy.
