OCLC in Canada is now offering CareerAim-Library Edition

CHAMBLY, Quebec, Canada, 26 March 2008—OCLC in Canada is pleased to announce that it is now the exclusive distributor of the Library Edition from CareerAim, the largest resource for employment opportunities in Canada.

The CareerAIM technology captures job opportunities on a daily basis from a vast array of resources, including commercial job boards, news groups, not-for-profits, recruiters, government, private corporate web sites and print media. As a result, CareerAIM is aggregating approximately 240,000 unique new job opportunities each month from coast to coast in Canada, and the majority of these opportunities are not to be found on any commercial job posting site.

By providing access to job opportunities that are not widely known—those not advertised on commercial job posting sites such as Monster and Workopolis—CareerAIM can provide library members with a significant advantage in the job marketplace.
