Enabled by FirstSearch, your users can find and retrieve materials on almost any research topic. The service delivers bibliographic records and library holdings from WorldCat, electronic journals from Electronic Collections Online, and access to more than 80 databases to give your users a convenient and easy-to-use reference service that is searchable in five languages. The enhanced service provides instant access to full text from 9,000 full-text journals, and more than 4,000 full-image journals online.

Familiar names from leading information providers

The FirstSearch base package includes WorldCat and ArticleFirst, which includes all the citations from Electronic Collections Online. Wilson Select Plus can be added to the base package to provide complete and economical coverage of books, recordings, articles, archives and more. You can easily add access to other databases, such as PAIS International, the premier resource for public policy and world affairs information. And new choices are continuously available: Alternative Press Index Archive was recently added.

Direct links to Web information and loan requests

Users can borrow articles and materials from other libraries using OCLC holdings information and a link to the OCLC Interlibrary Loan service. And they can jump to Internet resources from links in a growing number of FirstSearch databases, including WorldCat.
