How does the Archive comply with standards, specifically OAIS?

The Digital Archive follows the Reference Model for an Open Archival Information System (OAIS), which has been adopted as an ISO standard. Dissemination Information Packages from the Digital Archive conform to the Metadata Encoding and Transmission Standard (METS). The batch ingest service follows  both METS (for its Submission and Dissemination Information Packages) and the NISO draft standard Technical Metadata for Still Images.
