Requirements
Server requirements
Atlas Systems and OCLC recommend that ILLiad be run on its own server. This simplifies support and increases processing performance.
For this reason, we strongly recommend against running ILLiad on the same physical Windows 2000/2003 server that is already running an Internet Information Server (IIS) to serve web applications.
Hardware
- Intel Pentium 4/Xeon 2.0 Ghz or greater processor
- 1 GB RAM minimum (more RAM will substantially increase system performance)
- Hard drive size dependent on use
- Ethernet connectivity to the Internet/intranet
- Backup device recommended (DDS-3 tape or better)
Software
- Windows 2000 Server including Internet Information Server 5.0 or Windows 2003 Server including Internet Information Server 6.0
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (standard edition) or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Standard Edition)
