Boise State University

Historic Boise State is a growing collection of photographs that reflect the history of Boise State, from its beginning as Boise Junior College in 1932 to the present. The collection includes images of campus life, student activities, buildings, and athletics concentrated in the decades from the 1930s to 1980s. These online images constitute only a fraction of all the images held in the University Archives and more are being scanned and added to Historic Boise State every month.

North Carolina Maps is a comprehensive, online collection of historic maps of the Tar Heel State. Featuring maps from three of the state's largest map collectionsthe North Carolina State Archives, the North Carolina Collection at UNC-Chapel Hill, and the Outer Banks History CenterNorth Carolina Maps provides an unprecedented level of access to these materials. When complete, North Carolina Maps will contain over 1,500 maps, ranging in date from the late 1500s to the 1960s, and will include detailed maps for each of North Carolina's one hundred counties.

From the early 1870s to roughly 1930, many publishers issued their commercial book covers with a remarkable variety of graphic designs and illustrations. This sixty-year period saw many artists and designers contributing to this art form. While some can be identified from their style or initials, others remain unknown. This digital collection provides access to almost 100 of these decorated book covers.

This digital collection presents historical maps and images of Tibet from the holdings of the American Geographical Society Library. The collection includes a set of early photographs of central Tibet and Lhasa as well as over 800 images from Harrison Forman's expeditions to northern Tibet between 1932 and 1937. The photographic collection is supplemented by four plans of the city of Lhasa and six historical maps of Tibet.
