WorldCat Collection Analysis—January 2007 enhancements

The latest quarterly update for WorldCat Collection Analysis has been completed. 

New Predefined Peer Groups
In January we added two new predefined peer groups that allow subscribers to compare their collections to the collections of top Irish and Canadian institutions.

To add a Predefined Peer Group, log-in to the Administration Module of WorldCat Collection Analysis at: http://firstsearch.oclc.org/admin. Then:

• Click on the Collection Analysis tab
• Click on the Predefined Groups sidebar tab
• Choose a Category, Subcategory, and Predefined Group
• Click the Add button
• Click the Save Changes button

New functionality
We also added some new functionality to WorldCat Collection Analysis. Libraries can now...

• Limit their analysis by eight types of microform
• Export additional data from ILL Analyses, including Article Date, Volume, and Issue.
