OCLC named among Computerworld’s Best Places to Work in IT

DUBLIN, Ohio, USA,  1 July 2008—For the third straight year, OCLC, the world's largest library service and research organization, based in Dublin, Ohio, has been named one of Computerworld's Best Places to Work in IT.

The Best Places to Work in Information Technology (IT) list is an annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals compiled by Computerworld. The lists are compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.

OCLC placed number 51 on the 2008 list, up from 86 in 2007.
