Support

User Support Center

If you are a current CONTENTdm user, visit the CONTENTdm User Support Center for complete documentation, including installation guides, Help files, tutorials and a Support FAQ. In addition, you can learn and share with the CONTENTdm community through forums and blogs. (Note that the User Support Center is password-protected.)

Training

CONTENTdm Basic Use Sessions

If you are a new CONTENTdm user or just beginning your evaluation of the software, attend a CONTENTdm Basic Use Session. This is a live, two-hour Web session designed to assist new users in building digital collections. During the session, we will:

  • Demonstrate basic functionality
  • Show you how to configure and populate collections
  • Explain the use of controlled vocabularies and how to maintain metadata

No CONTENTdm experience is required. To register for the next session, visit the CONTENTdm User Support Center training section.

Additional free training

OCLC also offers three additional free, live-online CONTENTdm training courses, in addition to the free CONTENTdm Basic Use Session.

These three, two-hour basic skills training courses are offered on a bimonthly basis and will provide new users with information about the fundamentalks of using CONTENTdm to manage their digital collections.

Visit the OCLC Training Portal for scheduled course availability and registration.
