Daniel oversees operations and sales and marketing of all OCLC products and services in Canada. Before joining OCLC, he held a variety of positions including founding Textel db, the official distributor for Chadwyck-Healey products in Canada. Before starting his company, he was an Account Manager for DRA/MultiLIS, a librarian with the Canadian Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (CISTI) and Laurentian University in Sudbury. He has delivered many presentations at CLA and provincial library associations always related to technology and/or library trends. Daniel has over 20 years of experience with automation and electronic content management since he got his M.L.I.S. degree from the University of Montreal in 1987. He also holds an MBA from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University that he completed in 2003. |

Mike's project management role combines his experience as a former high school and university educator with his longstanding technological savvy, which leads him to spearhead almost all quantitative projects that come through Youthography. The results are groundbreaking projects like the Kellogg's Jacks Pack - a project that empowered youth and business to work together to reach business objectives. An accomplished public speaker, Mike has made numerous appearances in print, on radio and on television. He has a Political Science and History degree and a degree in Education, both from the University of Toronto. |

Shawn is the Immersive Learning Librarian at McMaster University. Sometimes he goes by the moniker of "Gaming Librarian." Shawn is interested in how engaging technologies like video games and virtual
worlds can be used in higher education and how the library can support those technologies. To that end, he is involved with McMaster's presence in Second Life as well as working with faculty interested in gaming for teaching and learning. |
