WorldCat Collection Analysis: Product Updates (August, 2007)

The following product enhancements were added to the WorldCat Collection Analysis user interface during August, 2007.

Number of Institutions in a Peer Comparison Group Increased

(Completed: August 2007)

Individual subscribers now have the ability to create peer comparison groups consisting of up to 10 institutions.

Number of Exports Increased

(Completed: August 2007)

The number of records that can be exported in a batch from WCA has been increased from 500 to 2500.

FRBR-applied WorldCat Comparison

(Completed: August 2007)

Subscribers now have the option of applying elements of the FRBR algorithm to your WorldCat comparison via the WorldCat Services Administrative Module at http://firstsearch.oclc.org/admin (screenshot below).  Applying elements of FRBR groups various editions and formats of the same title together.  Requesting a FRBR-applied WorldCat Comparison will not overwrite your existing, non FRBR-applied WorldCat Comparison.  It will appear as an additional analysis.
