Significant increase in OCLC number count

This week, beginning Monday, March 26, 2007, cataloging users will notice a significant increase in the OCLC number count. 

OCLC is in the process of assigning OCLC numbers to article citation records that will be added to WorldCat.org in support of the mid-April release of the next phase of WorldCat.org development.  The citation records themselves will not be added to WorldCat and will not be visible to other users until the release of the next phase of WorldCat.org.
