University of Utah Marriott Libraries
Kenning Arlitsch provided an overview of their CONTENTdm projects that include use as an institutional repository. He also presented their most recent extension, ClipImp, which helps integrate audio files in CONTENTdm collections and is intended to be made available to the user community.
Reed College
Joanna Burgess presented Reed’s experience teaching with digital collections in the Liberal Arts Curriculum. More than 45,000 images in the CONTENTdm system are used for Art, Art History, Classics and Humanities.
Cleveland Public Library
Ann Olszewski covered the Library’s CONTENTdm experience building more than 14 diverse collections including images, lantern slides, maps, library-owned art and more. She also highlighted outcomes to the Library and community and reviewed future plans.
Ball State University
Amanda Hurford discussed their successful oral history digitization program, including the management of digitization, transcription, metadata creation and online presentation of the oral histories.
Montana State Library
Sarah McHugh presented their statewide effort to capture Montana’s heritage. This project builds CONTENTdm collections during the cataloging process by using Connexion digital import.
