Build pathfinders for your library's patrons in the Connexion browserConnexion browser includes use of "pathfinders," online subject bibliographies also referred to as subject gateways or webliographies. Like traditional library bibliographies that help people begin to find information on topics of interest, pathfinders within Connexion help you organize and integrate your topic-specific digital and non-digital resources in a single location. Create pathfindersUsing Connexion's pathfinder template, you can create your own pathfinder, draw from existing pathfinders, and customize content with local materials. You can also derive and customize an existing pathfinder created by a subject expert. Through Connexion, you can flag Resource Catalog records to create the pathfinder, or you can harvest web resources and include them in the pathfinder. Access pathfindersSave or add your created pathfinder within Connexion. Pathfinders may be exported, either as HTML or as a link (PURL or URL), to a local server. |
