Greater Savannah, Georgia to implement awareness campaign
Working in collaboration with Dr. Lamar Veatch, state librarian of Georgia, and Lyn Hopper, assistant state librarian for library development of Georgia, as well as local library leaders, OCLC launched the awareness campaign in greater Savannah, Georgia in June 2009. Nearly 40 libraries are taking part in the program, with the Bull Street Branch of the Live Oak Public Libraries acting as the campaign hub.
